Our Story
Dr. Dale Foster’s younger brother, Dean, had Cerebral Palsy and Dale knew that, despite his struggling body, he was a bright little boy full of love and good humor. This special relationship drew Dale to study the connection between the brain and the body.
With a passion to help people optimize the full potential of their brain, Dale became a Clinical Neuropsychologist who also holds the highest certifications possible in QEEG and the field of Neurofeedback.
Lee Ann Foster experienced several different challenges growing up and as an adult, found herself dealing with the effects of developmental trauma. Counseling and talk therapy was helpful, but just to a point. What brought her true breakthrough was using the tools and technology available at NeuroSource to retrain the brain and body.
With a Master's degree in Psychology, and training in biofeedback, Wellness & Epigenetic coaching, Lee Ann now uses all the things she learned on her extensive healing journey to equip others who find themselves dealing with the consequences of trauma and pain so they, too, can find relief from suffering and live with purpose and joy.
Dale and his wife, Lee Ann, founded NeuroSource in 2004, (formerly known as Memphis Neurofeedback). Together they have successfully helped clients who have struggled with many challenges, such as: ADD, Anxiety, Autism, Depression, PTSD, Sleep struggles, Seizure disorders, Stroke Recovery, and Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI).

At NeuroSource
We use 19 channel Loreta Z Score Neurofeedback that trains many areas of the brain at once, both surface and deep structures, towards normal (based upon the normative brain database) to alleviate symptoms and optimize performance. What in the world does this mean? It means that rather than guessing where to turn the brainwave activity up or down based upon an educated guess about a very complex organ, we look at your symptoms and your brain map to create training protocols that will be most effective for your unique brain. And even more, the training protocols change based upon how the brain responds to them! This is the closest thing to real-time, brain driven learning available. That adds up to the most efficient, effective, safe brain training there is!
Dr. Foster individualizes each person’s Neurofeedback training based upon a thorough QEEG brain map, a psychological interview, and decades of experience successfully training people’s brains with the most well- researched technologies available – people of all ages with a myriad of struggles from ADHD to Traumatic Brain Injury.

Why you should Choose Us
Education, Certification & Experience...
Dr. Foster is a Clinical Neuropsychologist and has been working in the field of Neurofeedback as a clinician, and contributing research to the field since 1989. Dr. Foster is a Senior Fellow 2 BCIA certified Neurofeedback provider who also holds a diplomate in QEEG brainmapping.
Not all Neurofeedback Providers are certified and well trained. Anyone can do Neurofeedback, so make sure your provider is certified, has been supervised by a qualified, experienced provider, and has enough experience to demonstrate proficiency in the field.
Most Well-Researched Neurofeedback...
Not all Neurofeedback is truly individualized. Some Neurofeedback systems have pre-programmed protocols based upon the developer’s theories about what might be helpful for people’s brains rather than an expert clinician creating completely individualized sessions based upon a high quality brain map of each individual and an understanding of the person’s unique history and set of symptoms.
Other systems use a few electrodes to train a few surface brain areas to increase or decrease brainwave frequencies.

Dale is married to Lee Ann and they have two beautiful, brilliant and spunky, red-headed daughters. As a family, they have personally experienced the struggles and triumphs of living with and growing through ADD, PTSD and many of the emotional, mental and physical effects that accompany those issues. They have successfully put their training technologies and techniques to work on themselves and can empathize with many of the issues their clients present.
Dale is a lover of the great outdoors and an avid backpacker, having hiked most of the Appalachian Trail and listing his second home as the Sipsey Wilderness in Bankhead National Forest. A lover of wild rivers he has floated the Noatak River in Alaska as well as many more local ones. One of his passions is leading small groups on spiritual retreats into the wild.
Dr. Dale Foster is founder of NeuroSource, LLC, formerly Memphis Integral Neurofeedback Institute, LLC and has been in private practice as a licensed psychologist since 1989. He serves children, adults, families, trauma survivors, individuals interested in peak performance, corporations and churches. Lee Ann Foster, MS, LMT, CST-1
Lee Ann is a red headed, post menopausal mother of two red heads now in their 20's. She is the wife of a wonderful Psychologist (that would be Dr. Foster) - with whom she works every. single. day. So, yeah, in the midst of life and running a business with her spouse, she's a bit crazy, but in the very best way! Neurotherapies, microcurrent therapy, nutritional and epigenetics coaching, and learning effective stress management skills have all been a great help in Lee Ann's own healing journey. These tools helped her break through some long standing trauma and health issues in ways that other healing modalities had not.
She has been able to use her education and personal traumas and healing experiences to offer transformational services to people who want to improve their lives.
Here are some of the people and struggles Lee Ann helps:
AAre you the parent of a struggling child and/or an aging parent? Are you stressed out as you try to juggle self care while also caring for your loved one's special needs, the rest of your family, as well as the myriad of daily tasks that HAVE to get done?
Lee Ann can help you make self care doable, even among all the care you give to others. Lee Ann employs Neuro and Biofeedback Technologies and Coaching Practices to help you learn what lifestyle practices best fit both your needs and your family's. Her viewpoint is that if you don't enjoy your lifestyle habits, you won't sustain them, so she helps people develop habits they love.
Have you experienced trauma as a child, or as an adult, and are finding it hard to get past the fears and blocks that prevent you from doing the things you want to do?
Lee Ann has over 20 years of experience working with childhood trauma victims using biofeedback technologies that calm the system and coaching techniques that help move people out of survival mode and into living and thriving.
Lee Ann is a survivor of childhood trauma herself and as such, has great compassion for trauma survivors. It is her view that each one has a unique story and healing path and that path can unfold more effectively when the brain and nervous system are balanced.
Through LORETA Z Score training and Frequency Specific Microcurrent, along with other neurotherapy techniques and Wellness coaching you can learn to balance your own internal stress response and get in touch with what your body needs to overcome the trauma and release you into freedom and joy.
Do you know in your head what changes you need to make to have a healthier, happier life, but can’t seem to follow through on those changes?
Lee Ann uses a combination of performance technologies and evidence based coaching techniques to help individuals and families make the changes that bring about peace, wellness and improved performance.
Coaching Modalities may include: Neurostimulation, Frequency Specific Microcurrent, CranioSacral Massage, HeartMath EmWave, Quantum Human Design Coaching, Wellness Coaching or Emotional Coaching to help with stress, trauma recovery, attention, and some pain related issues.
Epigenetics Coaching is also available – there is not one diet nor wellness program that is a good fit for every single person. Everyone’s genes are different, and the things that have happened in our lives affect the ways our genes are expressing. You need a coach trained in a Systems approach to Epigenetics to individualize a wellness plan to optimize your health according to your genetics and your history. Lee Ann received her training from Apeiron Academy under Dr. Dan Stickler, a forerunner in Systems Epigenetics for Limitless Human Potential.
