What isADD/ADHD?

ADD/ADHD is a classification of disorders that include symptoms such as distraction, inattentiveness, impulsivity, possible hyperactivity, and mood swings. ADD/ADHD is a brain dysregulation problem, and the particular areas of the brain that are dysregulated are not the same in everyone who struggles with symptoms.
Neuroscience has discovered ways to strengthen the brain’s attention networks without dangerous medications. Unlike temporary changes experienced with medications, Neurofeedback’s improvements are long lasting, and there are no negative side effects.

Here, atNeuroSource

We use the most evidence based, economical & efficient Neuroimaging Technology (QEEG, swLORETA) to map the brain and discover how each person’s brain is dysregulated and causing their symptoms. Then, we utilize the most cutting edge, well researched Neurofeedback and other Brain Training Tools to optimize the networks of the brain creating the symptoms so the person may improve their abilities to focus and self-regulate.
Using other Biofeedback Tools and Lifestyle Coaching Techniques, we also help people develop the skills and habits they need to continue improving their attention skills, performance and enjoyment of life.

Inattention without significant hyperactive-impulsive behavior (sometimes called ADD).

  • Hyperactivity/Impulsivity

Hyperactivity and impulsivity with significant inattention.

WONDERING WHAT
YOUR SESSIONS LOOK LIKE?
0
You are in a private, dimly lit room on a warmed massage bed. If you have FSM assisted massage we will either use warm, wet towels under your neck and feet and/or a small pad under your low back to deliver the frequencies. 1 These are microcurrent frequencies so you do not feel them. What people report feeling is very relaxed. 2 Some people with neuropathy or neuralgia do report feeling their nerves tingling as they wake up. But it is not an uncomfortable sensation.
We may also use red light therapy.
3
Each session is
completely personalized
to your needs and desires.

NEUROFEEDBACK
SESSIONS
Wondering what your neurofeedback sessions will look like? Here, you will find a brief overview of the process. 0
DISCUSS GOALS At the beginning of each appointment, as we prepare you for your Neurofeedback session, you will evaluate your progress for each of the goals you've set for yourself. 1 HEART RATE
VARIABILITY
TRAINING
Next, you will do some Biofeedback to help your brain transition into a peak learning state to achieve optimal results from your Neurofeedback session. HRV also teaches your brain to be calm and resilient to stress. 2
NEUROFEEDBACK
TRAINING
We make brain training fun! LORETA Z-Score Neurofeedback involves watching a movie or playing a game to train your brain to improve in challenged areas. The feedback provides rewards which motivate your brain to change. 3
POST SESSION
EVALUATION
As the session closes, you will be asked to rate yourself on measures of wakefulness, calmness, and focus. This helps you become more aware of your mental, emotional, and physical states so that you learn to self-regulate. 4
